Engaging Communities

Hosted by the Center for Public Interest Journalism, Temple University

The Center for Public Interest Journalism is excited to host a dozen community-minded media makers for a daylong conversation on engaging communities with public interest news and information. As the traditional relationship between journalists and readers evolves and the lines between news producers and consumers blur, the Center seeks to explore how communities can be built and engaged around public interest content.  The panelists on this forum—representing news organizations big, small, new and old—are on the front lines of doing just that. Come hear fresh ideas and share some of your own. The event is free, and includes breakfast, lunch, and post-forum cocktails.
